Shigley Construction Inc. has been remodeling homes in Sedgwick, Sumner and
Butler Counties since 1988. Shigley Construction Company received a national
recognition in 2002 when the company was named by Remodelers Magazine as one
of the Big 50 Remodelers in the country.

Our Staff

Tim Shigley
Tim Shigley is the president and founder of Shigley Construction. Tim is a
1986 graduate of Wichita State University where he received his degree in
Mathematics and Natural Sciences. He is married and has one son. Tim
received his CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) designation in 1999 and has
been a past chairman of the Remodelers Council for the Wichita Area
Builders Association and has served on the Association's Board of Directors.
Tim is a lifelong resident in the Wichita area and is also involved in youth
sports.

Gene Bowers
Gene was born and raised in Wichita. He graduated from Emporia State University in 1967 with a degree in radio and television. He went on to earn his masters degree in Theatrical Technology in 1968 and became a professor in the theatre department of the University of Minnesota and taught for 10 years. Gene left and joined the faculty of the University of Wisconsin where he taught for four years and later joined the faculty at Texas Tech University for a year where he nearly completed his ph.D.
Gene returned to work in the family construction business, Bowers Remodeling in 1984 and joined Shigley Construction Company in 2002 as a lead Carpenter. Gene has been married for 38 years and has three children and four grandchildren.

Brad McDaneld
Brad joined Shigley Construction Company in October of 2003 as a lead carpenter. He is a lifelong resident of Wichita. After graduating from Bishop Carroll High School in 1997, Brad joined Star Lumber and Supply. After eight years, he became an assistant manager before joining Shigley. Brad is married and a father of six.
